Zest Factor is the brainchild of Russell Krause and Alison Venning. Both talented individuals in their own right, together they bring a wealth of experience and skills to the Company incorporating performance, organisation, managerial and education.

Zest Factor is a company well known for its’ ability to design exciting entertainment packages for the corporate world. Established in 1988, the Company is based in Brisbane, Australia and works on a local, national and international level. Zest Factor prides itself on establishing long-term relationships with our corporate clients, and has a proven track record in design and implementation of entertainment packages for all levels of business and social events. Zest Factor is at the fore-front of this innovative and exciting industry.

Russell Krause A.D.A.T.
Artistic Director

After a successful career with Westpac where he held the position of Marketing Manager for the Sunshine Coast, Russell decided on a complete change and was accepted into QUT to study drama. On completion, he spent six years working professionally on stage, television and film, most notably The Delinquents, Mr Reliable and Swimming Upstream.

Russell is also a well known face from his many commercials on television ( including Red Back Bitter, Fosters, Fourex, Gold Lotto, Treasury Casino and Movieworld).
During this time, Russell recognised a need in the market for quality corporate theatre. Utilising all of his skills, the successful company of Zest Factor was born. Russell is chiefly responsible for the creative direction of the Company.

Alison Venning
Dip. Creative Arts (Theatre)
Grad. Dip. Education (Drama and English).

Managing Director

A natural performer, Alison was accepted into USQ to study drama straight from school. On graduating, she worked solidly on stage with the Queensland Theatre Company and TN Theatre Company and various television guest appearances. Alison was an original cast member of Crazies Comedy Restaurant and for the next two years, she honed her singing, dancing and acting skills every night of the week.

She then embarked on a seven year teaching career, culminating in the position of Acting Head of Performing Arts, teaching Drama, Dance and English at secondary school level. Alison brings to Zest Factor high level performance, organisational and scripting skills and is responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the Company.
